"VISUAL PROCESSING III"
PERMANENT INSTALLATION: PHILADELPHIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
INK AND ACRYLIC ON PAPER, 6x17 FT
"Visual Processing III" is a series of international cityscapes seen through the lens of memory recollection. With fragmented and inventive imagery based on each city's unique architecture, cultural elements, and color palette, it appears as though one is remembering travels from one city to another. The goal is for viewers to feel the richness of encountering a new place, recognize the haze of memory, and become intrigued with judging which cities are being portrayed. The piece highlights the airport as a passageway to such a diversity of experiences.
